Ad account missing or access denied? Check the right permissions
Separate portal sign-in, ad account provisioning and platform permissions. Find the right account and prepare the evidence needed to review an access problem.
The short answer
What to know before you begin
Signing into the AdsGorilla portal does not automatically sign you into Google, Meta or TikTok. First identify where access fails, then check the exact account, invited identity and required asset permission. Funding an account does not grant access to it.
Who this is for
Customers who cannot find an ad account or receive an access error in the portal or advertising platform.
1. Identify which sign-in or permission is failing
Distinguish a portal sign-in error from a missing account inside the portal, and both from an advertising platform denying access. These have different owners and evidence. Record the page and exact error without copying session links or authentication tokens. If you cannot enter the portal, use your established support contact instead of creating another customer identity.
2. Check the account and invited identity
Confirm the platform, workspace, account reference and the identity that was invited. Similar account names and multiple signed-in browser profiles can lead to the wrong account. Check whether an authorized administrator sent an invitation to that identity and whether it was accepted. Access should be assigned to the person or team that needs it, not recovered by sharing another person’s password.
- Match the account reference, not only its display name.
- Confirm the intended browser profile and invited identity.
- Check invitation status with the authorized administrator.
3. Separate an account request from a ready account
A new-account request can exist before provisioning and access arrangements are complete. Read its current status and any review note in Requests. A funded workspace or an approved payment does not prove that the account has been created, assigned and made accessible. If the account was replaced, ask which reference is current rather than requesting funds for the old one.
4. Check the permission for the specific asset
The permission needed depends on the task. In Google Ads, campaign editing and access administration are different capabilities; being linked to a manager account is not a universal ownership grant. For Meta or TikTok, identify the exact Page, profile, advertiser account or other asset involved and ask the authorized administrator to confirm its assignment. Seeing one asset does not establish access to every asset.
5. Request a scoped access review
Explain what you need to do and provide the account or asset reference, exact error and related request. Share an invited email only through a verified private support channel when it is needed to resolve the issue. Ask for the least access required for the agreed work. Do not send passwords, browser cookies, recovery codes or one-time codes, and do not disable security controls to make a login work.
