The short answer
What to know before you begin
Your team creates and operates the Snapchat campaign. AdsGorilla provides Snapchat account services only, not Snapchat campaign management. Confirm the correct ad account, then review the campaign goal, ad sets, creative, measurement and launch approval.
Who this is for
Media buyers operating Snapchat campaigns through an authorized account-service arrangement.
1. Confirm who operates the campaign
This is a self-operation guide, not an additional AdsGorilla managed service. Your buyer owns the campaign decisions and checks. Agree the account-access and funding arrangement separately, and check the account ID before creating anything.
- Prepare the offer, mobile destination and creative rights.
- Identify the launch and budget approver.
- Confirm who maintains the Pixel, events and reporting.
2. Choose a goal and create the campaign
In Snapchat Ads Manager, choose the intended account and open Create Ads. If the account offers Advanced Create, use that workflow for detailed campaign and ad set controls. Select the objective that matches your outcome, name the campaign and review its schedule and status.
A campaign can be saved without intentionally starting delivery. Check active or paused state and any spend caps before continuing. Interface labels and available objectives may vary; do not copy old objective names without checking the current account.
3. Build the ad sets and measurement choice
Review each ad set’s audience, placements, budget, schedule and optimization goal. For website outcomes, confirm the correct Snap Pixel and event configuration. Do not assume that another campaign’s Pixel or budget is the right one after duplication.
Keep distinct tests understandable: name the ad set for the audience or creative hypothesis being tested. Use an approved spend limit rather than a generic recommendation from an example. A suggested bid is not a guarantee of cost per result.
4. Preview the ad and destination
Add an eligible format, approved creative, brand identity, headline, destination and call to action. Check the actual phone-sized preview and the page customers reach. Creative requirements depend on the format, so review the current requirements shown by Snapchat.
Confirm that the landing page works, the offer is accurate and the intended conversion can be completed. Avoid placing private user information or secret tokens in URLs, creative or test parameters.
5. Review and publish with approval
Review the campaign, every ad set and the ads. Confirm budget, timing, status and destination with the person approving spend. Publish only after those checks, then reopen the objects and verify the saved state and platform review outcome.
- Publishing a paused campaign does not itself mean delivery starts.
- Approved creative, eligible settings and funding are separate checks.
- Retain object IDs and the approved launch settings.
6. Validate event receipt and reporting
Check delivery, spend and the intended outcome. If using both Snap Pixel and Conversions API, verify they identify the same conversion correctly so it is not counted twice. A received event and an event attributed to a Snapchat ad are different reporting stages.
Compare time zone, date range and event type before diagnosing a mismatch. Share relevant account and request references with your established support contact, not passwords or customer payment data.
