Unused ad credit: reconciliation, refunds and account closure

Understand unused ad credit before closing an account: reconcile workspace and platform balances, check exclusions and request a documented review.

The short answer

What to know before you begin

A displayed balance is not automatically a refundable balance. Check where the funds sit, reconcile committed spend and charges, then request a review under the applicable agreement. Stopping campaigns, closing an account and receiving a refund are separate steps.

Who this is for

AdsGorilla clients checking remaining credit or preparing to pause campaigns or end their service.

First identify where the funds are recorded

Separate a payment that is awaiting verification, available workspace credit, credit allocated to an advertising account and money already committed to spend. Do not add these figures together without checking whether they represent the same funds at different stages.

Record the account and payment references and the time of the balance check. An SOA is an operating record; it is not, by itself, approval of a refund. If the statement and workspace differ, reconcile the period and entries with your existing contact.

Apply the published refund policy, not the headline balance

AdsGorilla’s Refund Policy allows a review of funds not committed to platform spend, delivered services, approved purchases, chargebacks or non-refundable network and processing costs. The available amount is confirmed before processing. A signed service agreement or transaction-specific disclosure controls if it provides different terms.

  • Completed membership periods and services already delivered are excluded.
  • Advertising spend committed, processed or consumed by a platform is excluded.
  • Unrecoverable payment, blockchain, conversion, chargeback or third-party fees are excluded.
  • Fraud, disputes, prohibited activity or outstanding obligations can require a pending review.

Use a reconciliation, not an automatic refund calculation

Suppose your statement shows $1,000 of verified credit, $300 allocated to an advertising account and $500 left in the workspace after other recorded movements. Those two locations must be checked separately. The allocated amount may include committed spend; the workspace figure may still be subject to outstanding charges.

This is an illustrative bookkeeping example, not a refund quote. A provider must reconcile the entries and applicable terms before confirming the eligible amount. Do not assume that the original payment, service fee and remaining platform balance are all recoverable.

Request a review with the relevant references

Contact your account manager or established Telegram support route with the relevant account, payment and destination details. Use the private channel agreed with your contact. Do not publish payment evidence or send passwords, full card numbers or wallet recovery phrases.

  • Identify the account and payment or request reference.
  • State whether you want to pause work, close the service or review unused funds.
  • Ask for the reconciled amount, deductions and next step in writing.

Confirm the closure and payment outcomes independently

Pausing ads does not itself close the service or return credit. Agree who stops campaign activity, checks pending charges, preserves permitted reports and changes access. Wait for the confirmed review result before recording an amount as refunded.

Processing depends on the payment method, platform reconciliation, compliance checks and the banking or blockchain network. This guide does not promise a fixed deadline or replace your agreement. A submitted request, approved review and completed payment are distinct states.
