TikTok Ads agency account: your launch preparation guide

Prepare a TikTok Ads account request with your business, videos, destination, measurement and asset permissions before campaign launch.

The short answer

What to know before you begin

Prepare the business and destination first, then usable video assets, a measurable goal and the permissions needed for the chosen setup. Business Center organizes accounts and assets; it is not a substitute for campaign preparation or permission to use a creator’s content.

Who this is for

Teams bringing their own video creative to a TikTok ad account service or managed campaign launch.

1. Describe the business and campaign goal

Share your website or app, product, target countries and expected budget. Explain whether you want leads, purchases, installs or another action. Include any existing TikTok ad account or Business Center details that are relevant so the team can review the intended setup.

2. Bring video assets you can advertise with

Prepare the actual video files or references, ad copy and destination for review. Confirm that you can use the footage, music and creator content in advertising. If a campaign depends on a TikTok profile or post, discuss the required authorization before treating that content as ready.

  • Keep the offer consistent between the video and landing page.
  • Make on-screen text readable and check the mobile destination.
  • Identify who supplies new edits and approves creative changes.

3. Identify the account and asset permissions

TikTok Business Center manages permissions for different accounts and assets. An ad account permission is not automatically permission to use every TikTok account, pixel or catalog. List the assets needed for the campaign and have an authorized administrator confirm the access arrangement. Do not send a shared Business Center password.

4. Check the full conversion path

Decide how a completed lead, purchase or app action will be recognized. Test the destination and the system that receives the result. For a website campaign, check the page after the ad click; for an app campaign, agree on install and relevant in-app measurement. Keep test evidence free of private customer data.

5. Agree who operates and funds the campaign

With Self Managed, your team controls creative, targeting and campaign decisions. Fully Managed adds the work agreed with AdsGorilla. Confirm fees and verified credit, the initial campaign plan and who approves changes. Review account eligibility separately: an available account does not guarantee ad approval or results.
